Celebrating Three Centuries of People and Pianos

Marc Glickman is a performer of traditional Jewish, Irish, and American music, and a producer of educational Jewish craft projects. In addition, he makes and restores stringed instruments.

Although his training was in classical piano, he has performed with many traditional music groups, including his current bands, Klezmos, Sodabread, and Martin's Flight, as pianist, guitarist, and vocalist. Glickman is also proficient in folk styles of guitar, mandolin, banjo, and fiddle.

Glickman received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and graduated from the Robert-Venn School of Luthiery's course in guitar-making. As a successful craft producer, Glickman's hand-carved and inlaid wood Chanukah dreidels have been displayed at the Smithsonian Institution and the B'nai B'rith Klutznick Museum in Washington, D.C., as well as other museums in Philadelphia and Palm Beach, Florida.
