Performers

Barbara Wing is a classical pianist, teacher, and director of continuing education for piano teachers and adult pianists at the Levine School of Music. As a performer, she specializes in lecture recitals, chamber music, and duo piano performance. She has appeared at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater and in Yorktown, Virginia, as a soloist with the York River Orchestra.
Wing earned degrees in music from Wellesley College and the University of Maryland and has served on the piano faculty of the Levine School of Music for eighteen years, in addition to acting as director of education from 1986-1991. As a music appreciation teacher, Wing has given lectures for the Smithsonian Resident Associates and the Cedar Lane Unitarian Church in Bethesda, Maryland.
